For N64 you could add Smash Bros, Mario Tennis, Ogre Battle, Paper Mario and of course, Conker's Bad Fur Day

I have a N64 but yeah PSX had a way better library. The second best library after PS2. Third one is SNES.

Mario Parties, Tennis, Kart, Smash Bros, Pokemon Stadiums, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Diddy Kong Racing, Starfox, Battletanx, Conker's Bad Fur Day among some others I'm forgetting were an absolute BLAST with friends.

PSX had an overall better library tho.

Oh god this. It's crazy how the N64 had technologically better graphics, but most of the people who developed games for it didn't know how to render worth shit. We didn't get to see how much graphical potential it had until the DS came out.

Also most PS1 games were $40 or less. With N64's titles, it was various and mostly expensive.

I owned an N64 growing up and thought for a while it was the best system ever. While I still maintain that it is a decent system in its own right, I currently think it's the worst of the Nintendo consoles (yeah, worse than the Wii. The wii's not really as bad as people make out though) and has aged the worst of the 3 main consoles from that generation. I admit the PS1 is a better and more versatile console.

That said, you're just making yourself look like an asshole if you try to claim that the N64 is bad. It had some pretty damn stiff competition, and I think it did alright.

Also, let me point out that if you took all the 3rd party (capcom and square mostly) games and plunked them on the N64 instead of the PS1, no one would give a shit about the PS1. Sony was in the right place at the right time, and their hardware supported mainstream game design, while Nintendo chose a bad time for a dated medium (cartridges). Not ragging on the PS1, just saying that while it's a good console, it really didn't do that much for itself.r

Listen man, when a person is living in abundance of food and shelter they no longer worry about those things. After those necessities are fulfilled the next necessities come up such as inner fulfillment and having good company. If those can't be fulfilled then that can bring depression. Mother teresa even said that the problem with first world countries in loneliness, despite all the problems in 3rd world countries with basic necessities, they have large communities and loneliness isn't anywhere as big a problem as in first world countries.

Stop getting angry at things you don't understand and try to understand them instead.

There are literally hundreds of games on the console worth playing. Gaming back in 1995 was fucking awesome.

Just because you were in to babby Nintendo shit with your 30 Mario rehash games per year being released, doesn't mean everyone else wasn't having the time of their lives.

So many fucking great games were played. It makes me nostalgic thinking about each one of them. i dunno, it's pretty stiff compeition between the nintendo shitty four and the nintendo shitcube.

The American NES wasn't very good either.

The wii has more games than either the 64 or the Gamecube, but I've honestly only enjoyed one or two games from it but this entire gen has been awful and I've enjoyed only two games on the PS3 as well
