Welp, /v/. I passed the 4,000 subscriber mark the other day so I decided to apply for partnership, but still the faggots at youtube replied that I "don't have enough original content" to be partnered.
My channel is game reviews and let's plays, every single one of which has commentary, which means every single one falls under the fair use law. Plenty of shitty ass let's plays by boring ass guys who barely talk getting less than a hundred hits each under channels like Machinima, whereas mine easily get 1-3,000 per video, if not more (and I would get even more with the partner tools at my disposal).
What the fucking fuck? What else does youtube want from me? Do I have to have 100,000 subscribers now before they'll partner with me? Yeah that's feasible. Maybe if I sink a thousand bucks into their shitty "promoted video" program, but then what's the point?
