I'd just like to interject for a moment.
What you're referring to as Dubs, is in fact, Dubs/chеck еm', or as I've recently taken to calling it, Dubs plus сhеck еm'. Chеck еm' is not a doubles unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning Dubs system made useful by the Dubs corelibs, post number utilities and vital imageboard components comprising a full post number as defined by Dоubles.
Many computer users check a modified version of the Dubs system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of Dubs which is widely used today is often called chеck еm', and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the Dubs system, developed by the Dubs Project.
There really is a сhеck еm', and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use. Chеck еm' is the reaction: the post in the imageboard that allocates the checkers resources to the other Dоubles that you check. The reaction is an essential part of a Dubs, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete сhеck еm'. Chеck еm' is normally used in combination with the Dubs system: the whole system is basically Dubs with сhеck еm' added, or Dubs/сhеck еm'. All the so-called chеck еm' posts are really distributions of Dubs/сhеck еm'.
