>>125771917Yeah, Blizzard has very good customer support. I don't understand why Bioware didn't copy the good aspects from World of Warcraft.... wait a minute. Let's think this for a second:
1. Good customer support (Bioware sets the new low)
2. Open world with a lot of detail (instanced, completely separate zone-sized planets with long distances of nothing in between)
3. Good UI, excellent addon-support to customize it even further (Shit UI with zero customization)
4. Responsive and smooth controls (0.5 delay, lackluster animations/sounds/spell effects give an unresponsive feel)
5. Style over graphics, allowing the game to run on very low-end hardware (some users are having problems with even high-end hardware, at least I think the art style is garbage)
6. Interesting and memorable boss fights (you walk down the stairs, I made a post regarding this issue in
>>125768263)
7. Somewhat non-linear leveling experience (more linear in Cataclysm) with a good variety of different quests and increased replayability because you don't need to do every zone to level up (completely on-rails questing, completely linear zone/planet progression, EVERY quest is kill/gather x of y)
There's probably more of this, but I think it's pretty clear that The Old Republic fails miserably at most areas where World of Warcraft excels at and it STILL tries to copy it.
