Ingredients/freshness, the skill of the chef, and yes even ENVIRONMENT.The first two factors are hardly worth mentioning, as I said, because we live in a first world country that has google. Environment is a slippery thing, again it tends to boil down to luxury for the sake of luxury.
Of course a high-class restaurant is better than a shithole fast food place. But the kind of restaurants that only millionaires can afford to eat at are NOT better than middle-ground restaurants, or stuff you could make at home. You're paying almost entirely for the "environment."
