This whole "Oh you gamers are so entitled!" Thing is really starting to piss me off. It's entirely unprofessional of the industry to downright insult their customers like that, and it wouldn't happen in any other industry. Let's take two examples.
>I Am Legend - 2007
>In test screenings, audience backlash over the ending, they say it's too depressing and leaves a bad feeling for the viewer
>Warner Bros. take this into account, come up with another ending, original ending on the DVD as a special feature.
>Mass Effect 3 - 2012:
>After retail, gamer backlash over ending, they say it completely undermines all the choices you've made throughout the series, and that it generally feels rushed.
>"BAWWWWWWWW YOU GUYS ARE SO ENTITLED GOD WE PUT SO MUCH EFFORT INTO THIS AND YOU GUYS JUST SHIT ALL OVER IT."
>Reluctantly come up with new endings that you have to pay for ON TOP of the original.
The gaming industry needs to wake up, and remember that old phrase: "The Customer Is Always Right."
