The foot sequences all amount is making the player do unnecessary bitchwork

I regret saying seasaw puzzzles and i want to retract by saying almost every puzzle in the game
They are simply too much because again theres no different way to go around a situation like say Deus Ex or Thief
Its just one pathway with one and only one solution
Ravenholm actually used the puzzle/physic mechanics well ill admit

Storylines need character arcs
If no one changes then the story isnt well done
>Gordon being silent creates a feeling that the characters are talking directly to you as you never hear anyone else's voice respond and you never have your character saying things you wouldn't say.This is an issue that i feel Half Life caused by having Gordon have a face and a name
We know Gordon isnt us
We dont know what he likes
If he was say a character created through an RPG or even the damn faceless Doommarine that would be ok
But because we know he has these traits it simply causes him to become a nobody
