On PC, source games have a huge modding community which is already prepared for this DLC, there are many communities with people wanting this DLC, people who are map builders, modders, people with experience, even if it is small.
Little Big Planet not only focuses on 2D created worlds, but is limited in ways I said before, and even then, LBP had some fucking awesome user created content within a couple of weeks.
Of course, we'll have to wait for the really good maps to come out, just like when new multiplayer games set up, it takes a while for good servers and communities to pop up, it takes a while for modding communities to evolve when new versions of engines are released, it doesn't mean we have to wait a long time for decent content.
