>>138904154>It was easy to do with Origin so why not prove it with Steam?.Really?
If it's so easy do it.
What, you gonna go dig up the same 2 fucking pictures somebody posts EVERY SINGLE FUCKING TIME this argument comes up? Nobody has even tried to replicate the results, they just accept it as fact. Who gives a shit if it's scanning your printer and phone information, I've yet to see a picture of it scanning anything of value.
I have proof of valve scanning my hardware and software, it's called the hardware survey. You can't ONLY opt out of having your results posted, NOT having the scan happen. READ THE FINE PRINT.
Also, straight from the valve EULA.

Guess what, it's still a dedicated server because EA doesn't host it.
>please enlighten me as to YOU not liking custom maps counters the point.I don't even care. Here are some tissues for your issues. Modability of a game does not factor into how good it is, unless it's trying to survive on modability alone like every valve game.
>please enlighten me as to what component of Steam scans my whole system without my permission and sends back the info to Valve. The entire thing.
What "component" of steam allows you to play games?
What "component" of your question ISN'T retarded?
