Where do these things come from? Who are they testing, grade school children? Were they only testing the dumbest people in town?
The only solace I can find was some commercial I saw about when kids learn algebra. The tv screen shows a school blackboard with an algebra problem on it.
Some eleven year old kid shows up, solves the problem, walks away while there's narration about how there are kids in 6th grade who can do algebra.
Next it happens with a 15 year old kids and the narration talks about 9th graders (freshmen in High school) doing algebra. Then it shows an 18 year old trying to do the same but can't, and just puts down the chalk and walks away w/o solving algebra problem. Narration goes on about how there are seniors who can't even do algebra.
