The only problem is that when you get into things like that, it would be easy to make it so the 100 dollar car is a better quality car, here's a good reason why:
One of the ways you could get away with making a 100 dollar car for in game use is that it would represent an expensive car outside of the game, like a sport or racing car.
These cars tend to be, by and large, a great deal better (subjectively, in many aspects) than a regular car.
So by charging a premium price, you establish a pay-to-win scenario where the most expensive car also happens to be (one of) the best.
