Nintendo is considering remaking Super Mario Sunshine on the 3DS in a manner similar to Super Mario 64 DS, with more playable characters, courses, and missions. Would you buy it, /v/?

64 DS had enough stuff, though.
NSMB2 feels like an expansion pack of new levels and that's about it. The entire NSMB Wii, Wii U, 3DS, etc. thing seems way too unnecessary.

Maybe. Most of what I didn't like about Super Mario Sunshine was that my siblings and I would keep confusing who had what save file, and I'd end up missing cut-scenes and levels that they beat for me. Making it for a portable system that I don't hare would immediately get rid of that problem, though so would using the floating Mii head system used for Galaxy. On the other hand, it was still a just-fairly-good kind of game that I don't know if I'd want to buy it twice, even if a few new things are thrown in.

You know you all just dislike the level design because you're used to all other platformers being ice level, fire level, 2spooky4me level. I like that kind of variety too, but I appreciate that Sunshine managed to maintain a thematic connection throughout its levels and actually did manage to make its levels feel unique, large, and (most importantly of all) non-linear.
