Specialized at different things and theaters than they are, but there have been several information exchanges and cooperative training between them.
Swedish army is small but very specialized and efficiently trained, more so than the average american grunt would be.
This is why swedish subs go to USA to teach the 'mericans how to navigate in shallow water and stay off sonar etc.
In wargames sweden tend to win (cost efficiency anyway, in the end USA would of course have no problems nuking sweden back to the dark ages) at sea and in winter regions.
It benefits both countries to cooperate and work on the others weakness'.
SSG in itself is an extremely small and elite part of the special ops in the military, an average career there lasts no longer than 5 years.
