>>153438682>Consoles thrive on new content, sales help fluctuate the market, meaning they create incentive pushing game development. PC development does not have this.Gears of war 1, 2, 3,
god of war 1, 2, 3, chains of olympus, that other psp one, etc etc
uncharted 1, 2, 3, vita
you get my point.
PC has what Historical combat simulators, SHMUPS, fighting games, simulation games, ARTS, Action RPG's shit like torchlight and diablo, to games like SRPG's Like armoured princess, world of tanks, mount and blade, terraria, amnesia, Vampire masquerade, tribes, quake and unreal tournament, I could go on and on. There is no end of genres for PC. PC struggles at fighting games and some forms of adventure games because of the keyboard and mouse set up. Just hook up a hori stick.
>I'd be very interested to see the numbers on unique titles released by developers through recent years. The PC gaming genre hasn't been as variant as it used to be, and it's been really stiff-arming older PC staples to cash in on quick $70 FPS crowd bullshit.I'd like some evidence to back up this claim. I have never seen a PC game sell for 70 dollars.
>Also, there isn't much variation beyond http://truepcgaming.com/2012/01/04/list-of-pc-gaming-digital-distribution-stores/Gamers gate, good old games, and a few others I cant exactly name off the top of my head.
