I don't think it really belongs in this thread, but I really hate it when I'm playing an older game and the game suddenly freezes, often accompanied by corrupted graphics and sound. It's even worse when it happens late at night when all the lights are off.
Actually, glitches in general unnerve me.
>Years ago, alone at home because parents are out
>Be playing Super Mario 64
>Messing around outside the castle for no real reason
>Occasionally hear faint static, but shrug it off, thinking it was just my imagination
>The game seems to be performing just fine
>Suddenly, Mario's body starts flying across the map, sometimes even sinking through the floor while achieving various deformities
>Static becomes almost ear-piercingly loud, and I freak out, however the game still lets me control Mario as if nothing is wrong
>Somehow end up in the moat around the castle
>All of Mario's limbs have disappeared, so he is now just a stump of a body
>Despite this, I can still move around and swim, but unable to jump out for some reason
>Forever trapped in the moat with limbless Mario until I turn the game off
