Quoted By:
A medium height male with a long black coat and a large brim, black hat. You can never see it's face, it's always shown in shadow. However, the coat and hat is merely a disguise. The coat folds back like wings, and underneath are six insect-human arms, and two long backwards legs. When it looks up, it's eyes glow white faintly in the dark.
For the most part it just sits and watches people, but it can fly and of course uses this to pounce on it's prey. It has the ability to somehow get through any door, even locked ones, so you have to make a better barricade than just a door to protect yourself. It is almost completely quiet, you never hear it coming. It has long black strings that can be "fired" from it's hands for various purposes. Usually they are used to wrap up a person like a spider, or hang them from the ceiling.
It's intelligent, though not enough to speak or be "funny." It's quite and watchful and attempts to instill fear in it's target. It preys on strong people first, so the ones that are usually not afraid are what it goes after. It's known as well to frequent parks and look for nighttime joggers, etc. It can be photoed and does nothing to video recording equipment, however, it can affect radios and audio recording equipment to where they create static and strange sounds.
Sometimes it will enter the home of it's victim and watch them sleeping for nights on end, or even sit in the dark and watch them as they go about their daily lives. However, it will not interfere until the victim has become sufficiently afraid, and that is the time it will feast. It generally stays in the background, and is largely unnoticed by people passing by, since it looks like a man standing in a long coat, unless of course you happen to watch it closely.
I call him the Dark Watcher, although that's more of a title than a name.
