that is actually kinda a good idea.
my wife and i agree it would be kinda badass to live in a mall that basically turns it into a "mini acropolis" i know i know it wouldnt be an actual acropolis
(fully self sustaining and self contained and all that other lovelyness that takes more than a few paragraphs to define correctly but i am assuming you understand my viewpoint or at least can appreciate where i am coming from on this particular point)
how cool would it be? imagine if you will: it would revitalize the unused area. you would need little renovation. it would be a new take on the old "gated community" idea and the large department stores could be turned into common areas for work or play. the food court could be reopened for the ppl living there and heck some of the residents could even work at some of the shops that would inevitably re open there. in addition the larger areas that used to be bigger department stores could be sold or rented to law or accounting firms or hell even a tech support company. (think cubicle farm type office)
tl;dr
i think it is a worthy idea to look into the possibility of. advancement and innovation only come from imaginative/ crazy ideas right?
