Crimes where the circumstances still don't make sense, and just reading the eerie details gives you spine-tinglies, especially when the perpetrator (or perpetrators) may still out there.
I'll start us off with a few good examples.
Rookie Mode: Post a Wikipedia link.
Veteran Mode: Post a Wikipedia link AND a green-text summary in this thread that explains why the crime/event is so creepy, and inspires people to go and read the Wiki article.
Also, just to preempt something that has derailed threads in the past, let's exclude the Dyatlov's Pass incident. If you want to discuss that particular case, it needs its own thread. Anything other than that, though, is fair game.
