I would often stay up at night and watch films with my dad, many of them horror films. One night we were up watching an old '70s film called Asylum. There was one story in it I remember where a man is cheating on his wife and plans to kill her. She had acquired a voodoo bracelet that she said gave her eternal life or something. Her husband said he had a gift for her and takes her to the basement and shows her a new freezer. He then says he has another gift for her and starts hitting her with a hammer and kills her. He then chops her into pieces, wraps the parts in parcel paper and keeps them stored in the freezer. The guy goes up for a drink and starts hearing noises and he turns and notices her head was lying by the door of the basement and then all of his wife's body parts appear, crawling or rolling toward him and they kill him.
After that I was too scared to sleep on my own and I was terrified. I watched it again in recent times and it just didn't look the same, it looked pretty laughable really.
