>>7554152Happens a lot when you're a beginner. It's because your body wants to test if you're awake or not. One way to get around that is to "project" yourself outside your body and pretend you're observing yourself - i.e. your body is *not* the one that's itching, it's someone else. The more your resist, the better you'll get at it.
The idea is like this OP: meditation is like one of those arcade games - thoughts will keep flying in towards you. Don't dwell on them, or force them out, just accept them and set them aside, be "done" with them, whether they be itches, hopes, regrets, reminders, memories etc.
