There was never an actual description given of what God looked like in the Bible to my knowledge, our common perception is based on the original artistic interpretation, which itself was likely based on Zeus, but I'm pretty sure biblically all that was ever shown was his hand, otherwise it was just his voice speaking through an object, or an angelic messenger. Their two lives have very few parallels.
Dionysus doesn't look much like the classic interpretation of Jesus, and he didn't turn water into wine, he simply invented the stuff. Again, his mode of operation and his abilities are totally different from Jesus as well. He didn't heal the sick, he mainly did three things. First he got people drunk with hilarious or horrific consequences, second he used getting people drunk to aid in tense negotiations, and third he turned into grape vines, and a giant boar and lion.
He didn't have a virgin birth, and his "resurrection" occurred pretty much immediately after his birth, and in some versions of the myth he didn't die at all, what with being a god, and just needed time to heal.
Most telling though is the claim that he was a "main character" when he's only in a handful of myths. He's one of the lesser known Greek gods, really, even less so than Hermes who was basically just a messenger.
