/x/, maybe you can help me out here. I'm looking for a song that appeared on a cassette tape I had a kid.

One side of the tape was a man's voice telling the Legend of Sleepy Hallow. The other sides of the tape was songs and spooky sound effects.
What I'm looking for is a song that went something like 'There was an old woman, skinny as a broom'. It's defiantly not, 'All skin and bone'.

That song used to creep the shit out of me and I'd love to listen to it again.

sounds like one of those CDs you can buy fromt he seasonal halloween stores in October. I say keep your eyes open around then. It's a bit to generic to even search for by name.

Yeah, I know. I kept getting lead back to the 'All skin and bone' song.
It's a shame, because it really is a good tape. (Not just lightening and cat's meowing) That version of Sleepy Hallow is definitive in my mind.

On the really really long shot that someone would remember, there was a sticker on the front of the tape that was a little boy with fangs or some shit, advertising that some of the tape's cost went to charity, I think. Also pretty sure that the cover art was purple.

I'm thinking maybe it was some promotional thing, so it's more likely to be tape than CD. Kids stuff was also more available on tape, at least at the beginning, because they were mostly kid proof.
