Happened to me earlier today, but it requires a bit of a back story.
I live on the second floor of a house, sharing the house with 2 other people. On the second floor I have a very small closet, and that leads over to the attic by a little wooden panel. When we moved in, it looked like some one deliberately put a lot of time into keeping the closet locked down. There was a steel padlock on it, but the lock was gone. When I first opened the door to put my clothes inside, I got this really bad, negative feeling. I couldn't explain it, like something didn't want me there. I asked one of my room mates if I could use his closet, and explained the situation to him. He checked it out, and said he was getting the same level of unexplainable fear, and agreed that I could use his as well. So now, I usually use the closet to just store shit, and that generally consists of me opening the door really quickly, and throwing what ever inside blindly, and slamming the door shut.
So now, for my nope experience today
>sunday, have the day off
>decide I should clean up
>finish cleaning, look over to the closet, think "Eh, I should really clean that out too"
>open the door, have the sense that I shouldn't be doing this, but shrug it off and start pulling out shit
>the panel begins to rattle and shake, NOPE and immediately close the door
>call my self stupid and reopen the door to keep going
>the thing continues to rattle and shake as I'm cleaning it out, all of a sudden hear a very loud thump from the attic part
>NOPE again, and slam the door shut once more
>again, I call my self stupid, and try to press on
