Hey /x/. The other day I saw a thread with a bunch of people having interestion stories about creepy things that have happened to them, so post them here :D I'll start.

I'm not sure. I was like 20 at the time so I was scared of everything when I was drunk. I wasn't sure if they noticed my stopped car from the distance. It's like a half mile long straight road, so I assumed they may have checked where I had stopped and saw the sticker. It was tore off the next day.

When I was really young I rode the school bus. During the waning heat near the end of August, there was a disgusting smell in a particular area on the bus route. It smelled like something had died. So we smelled this shit for a week, give or take. Later on it turned out what we were smelling was a murdered man in a trailer on the route.

My friends and I were outside a wendys at like midnight talking and eating frosties around our cars. We were about to leave, and this really cute redhead in our little friend circle decided to ride with me back to our friend's house. I drive a muscle car, so I thought it might impress her to do a donut. I was young and thought that would work... Yeah I know... Anyways I ended up doing like 4 circles and burning up my tires. The cloud was fucking massive. It was actually really awesome. Then just as I was driving out of the smoke I see this guy on a bike speeding towards my car so I braked. He then threw his bike in front of my car and ran up to my hood. I then realized I was the first man in america driving a srt 8 challenger to get stopped and ticketed by a bike cop.

What the FUCK was a bike cop doing in a wendy's/Target parking lot at midnight? I dodged a reckless driving arrest since he couldn't get a squad car to assist. So I just got a careless driving. My friends still give me shit about it.

Driving home from lake on July 3rd. In the middle of NOWHERE in the ouachita mountains. On a one lane country road that looks like it was laid about a million years ago. Close to midnight. Deep forest. Windows are down, drying the lake water off of me and the inside of my car.
Can't drive but about 25 mph on the shitty road. Hear a pants wettingly loud vocalization. Not a mountain lion, I know those. This was a deep, howl, kind of...but not a howl. I nearly shit my pants. Stepped on the gas, rolled up the windows and nope'd 60 miles back home.
This isn't very far from Fouke, Arkansas. The place where the whole "legend of Boggy Creek" thing supposedly happened.

Don't feel like greentexting though. was out of town boning this girl I barely knew in my car on the 9th or 10th (top) story of a parking deck. I finish and decide it's a great time to put clothes on and relocate. About the time I get my shirt back on a bike cop rolls up. Windows all foggy and shit. I ask him if everything's ok. He says "I dunno. You tell me." Then says we should probably leave. My heart was pounding in my damn ears.

The funny part was we couldn't find the girl's panties in my car. They didn't turn up for about a year and a half. Randomly found them digging under my seat one day before going to see my ex wife when we were still engaged. Lmao.

1. I worked for the U.S. Census Bureau. When I reached a certain apartment, a raspy voiced answered from the other side. He opened the door, the lights were off. This man is 65 years old but has the eyes of 100, decrepit and dead. He finally suggests that we finish the interview, after talking about his taxes for a while. We get to the final question, the phone number. He tells me a 6 digit number 3 times, all of which contained "666" in there somewhere. When that didn't work, he said "hold on, I'll go... get it from my fridge." He walked down the hallway that contained a closet that he had mentioned had a gun in it. I stood up, shouted "I'm going to get Taco Bell" through his apartment, and left. I sprinted to my car. Good fun.

The other one is just as meth involved, but a little freakier. Involves a man entering a friend's apartment, thinking the dude and his friends are this guy's "sons."

I never even made that connection, but it was the same premise. The thing I saw was shaped more like an ape, and it was pretty much pitch black besides the headlights, so only its silhouette was visible. Plus it actually crossed the road.

The next day I read in the news that a couple in a pickup truck had stopped to help a man in the same area, when they pulled up beside him he started screaming and tried to climb into the truck.
He stabbed the passenger (a woman) twice with a knife he was carrying and then, when the driver shoved him out of the truck, the man climbed into the back and starting slamming himself into the rear window until it shattered.
the driver eventually pulled a gun from the glove compartment, shot the guy in the shoulder and managed to get away.

I'm really glad I was a terrible person that night

when we finally got about 40 feet away from it we noticed it was some kind of mist shaped like a person. just as we were about to hit it, it collapsed into itself and then took off to the left into a dark field.

Anyhow, I was renting a house outside of Bloomington, Indiana when I was a grad student at IU. There were three houses on what was once a farm and the other two were also rented out. A couple living in one of the other houses asked if I had ever seen anything weird in the house that I was renting, and they claimed that the last two tenants had moved out because the place was super-haunted. I'm a total skeptical scientist and have not seen or heard anything so I blow them off.

Then shit hits the fan. First, I keep hearing this sound when I'm in my house - day and night - it sounds like someone tapping down a pack of cigarettes. It is sometimes quiet and sometimes sounds like it is in the room with me. That was freaky. Then, one night I'm just chillin having a beer and the shower in my bathroom just turns on full blast, and when I turn the shower off, I see that the sink has been turned on.

That was strange, but the kicker came one night when I was taking the recycling out to the road. My house was located far back on the property and there was a long driveway out to the road. After I dropped the recycling off at the roadside, I headed back to my house. I had left the interior lights on and when I got about 100 feet away I saw, plain as anything, a woman standing in the middle of my living room. It looked like she was looking out of the window and she was doing something with her arms and hands - smoking maybe? I just stood there frozen ans she walked into the kitchen. I booked over to the couple's house and asked the guy, who was a solid neighbor, to give me some backup. I could see my house the whole time - no one was coming or going as far as I could tell. When we got back, we basically stormed the place but no one was there. I slept at my girlfriend's place for the next week or so, until I got used to my house again. I lived there for another six months and nothing else happened. I have no explanation....

Shopkeeper tells me someone has pulled a gun and started shooting people in a coffee shop

In the carpark
Finished conversation with my bf, am quite panicked and shocked at this point
Get into the car
A man with a gun and spattered with blood hops into the passanger seat
Ill never forget his eyes with the tiny pupils, the bloodstains on his blue shirt, sweaty face
Puts the gun to my head and tells me to drive
The cops at this moment pull into the carpark
They stop the car
The man gets out of the car, onto the roof and shoots himself dead
This event was called the 'strathfield plaza massacre', wiki it, I had therapy for weeks afterwards but it was all a glorious valium induced blur. I'm ok now tho. But am religious :Sr

Turns out it was actually a drunk homeless guy sleeping, this forest is really close to the city, so you could say that that's kinda normal. The only reason I didn't wet my pants was that I was already peeing.

Mark was always one of the weirder guys I’d known. He was never content to live what he considered a “mundane” life. I was driving on a long stretch of road that ran between our town and a larger, neighboring one. One side was covered in forest, the other pure farmland. I’ve always been uncomfortable driving on roads like that. They’re a little too isolated for my liking, and while I wouldn’t call this particular road’s condition “bad”, the possibility of wrecking in such a place was absolutely nerve-wracking to someone as already anxious about driving as me. It also didn’t help that it was nighttime.

The radio was fading in and out, which, despite sounding spooky to more of you urban types, is actually pretty common out in the countryside. Still, I’d prefer something to listen to, and the car I was using at the time didn’t have a CD player. I eventually turned the radio off, quickly regretting the action and growing uncomfortable in the silence that followed. It was then that I spotted the pedestrian walking about twenty, maybe thirty feet, up ahead.

Wondering why anyone would be walking such a lonely and creepy road at night, I merely glimpsed in his direction. We managed to make eye contact for a brief moment, and I almost drove off the road. I became very paranoid and avoided that part of town as much as possible. The figure stopped in its tracks. Turning around, it slowly walked back towards me. We were soon only about fifteen feet apart. As my eyes squinted to get a good look at his face, it took on what some call the “Uncanny Valley” effect. My friend was driving me home from her house. She lives in the middle of town and I live pretty far out in the country. Nearly to my house, there's a guy standing in the middle of the road with his thumb out. Not at the side of the road, like most hitchhikers, but in the middle of the goddamn road. While we approach him, we decide not to pick him up, because we're both teenage girls and it's the middle of the night. He doesn't look that scary, just a guy of average weight and height wearing a blue shirt and jeans with a black backpack on his shoulder. My friend drives around him (he stood right in the middle of the road the whole time) and spends the night with me because she's too creeped out to drive by him again. The next day, there's a story on the news about a guy getting stabbed in his house. My parents knew him, he lived just up the road from us. The guy's neighbors said they'd seen him talking to a guy in a blue shirt in his yard earlier. We never knew if it was the same guy (the only description was the shirt) but it was really creepy.

This happened to my grandpa, not me, but he told me the story several times.
He'd gone on a midnight run for formula for my dad, who was born in 1962, and he was almost home when he saw a guy lying in the middle of the road. He wanted to help the guy but he'd heard about robber tricking you that way, so he just drove around him. In the morning, he called the police, and it turned out that it had been a real accident victim. He had died later that night.

Did some research for a few days after an it turns out it could of been a big cat, Puma or some shit.

This was about a week or so ago:
