>>8931198> not been trying or have been drunk.you're talking about a guy who spent years meticulously planning and perfecting every one of his paintings. it's absolutely as he intended.
much of his work is unfinished, he even ended up in court because some noble poof had paid him to paint a piece, but leonardo felt that he "needed" to escape halfway through and abandoned it. he (presumably/apparently) felt the almost constant urge to move onto new works, new ideas, new philosophies, which he made real primarily by way of painting, sketching and designing. it's almost as if he, along with his vast genius, believed that there was something 'more' to 2D images. some kind of potential which even he struggled to harness, but something he was conscious of and aspiring to nevertheless throughout his life.
anyone who's questioning his genius: keep in mind, this motherfucker was one smart guy. an artist, a philosopher, an inventor, an engineer... he designed helicopters (since built and proven workable) hundreds of years before so much as a hang-glider actually existed, for example.
http://www.da-vinci-inventions.com/davinci-inventions.aspxThis is like finding a new piece by mozart. a new research paper by einstein. a new insight into the maze-like mind of someone who has such massive global influence that even 500 years after his death, and without having been famous in his day, we're still talking about him now.
