I don't think I have much time left.

That's what they all say, isn't it? I used to think it was funny, back when I used to read horror short stories. If someone knew they were going to die, why would they bother writing out their story rather than finding some way to fight back? It seemed ridiculous to me, spending your last minutes hunched over a keyboard desperately tapping out every minuscule detail of your experience, not knowing if anyone would get it.

It doesn't seem ridiculous now.
