'sup /cgl/, I'm looking for a bit of advice. I'm considering cosplaying as this fellow here for a con later this year. But how the fuck am I going to make that castle armour thingy he's wearing? I've never made any cosplay armour before and haven't the foggiest where to begin. Any suggestions, tips or links to help?

Anyone ever bought the mirrored contacts? Pictures? How uncomfortable are they? And does anyone know about white-out contacts that aren't completely blind but instead a partially transparent over-layer (for that dead zombie look?)

I wanted those a couple years ago for a Riddick cosplay. At the time they were about $300, so I never got them and went the goggle route instead. From what I was told (by the website that sold them), they aren't uncomfortable. They work like mirrored sunglasses.

For your white-out needs, I can highly recommend these suckers
http://www.youknowit.com/online-shop/white-mesh-contact-lenses-pair.cfm I know it's a mesh, but as you can see in the pictures, it does give the look of the eye being a hazy white.
My boyfriend used them for Halloween last year and they looked so terrifying/amazing.

>>4410385 Wow these are really neat. Any idea on exactly how much they impair your vision?
Anonymous
>>4410385 more or less exactly what I was looking for. Sweet. Same question as above, how much do they impair vision?
Anonymous
Quoted By:
>>4410395 >>4413489 It basically puts a very slight haze over your vision. You can still see, everything just has a slight frostiness to it, if that makes sense. Definitely don't drive in them or whatever, not assuming you're stupid enough to do that, haha. They look great though. You can only see the 'mesh' detailing when you're super close up. From a slight distance, it just makes your eyes look jacked up and milky.

Amy Woolaway in a nutshell (I know, from a previous thread but it fits so perfectly)>Cosplays solely for attention >Sees other female cosplayers as competition that needs to be squashed >Always fat and ugly >Attacks other people mainly women on the internet out of pettiness and jealousy >Scared of the opposite sex and doesn't like being touched >Obnoxious and self-entitled > Backstabber

>>4405921 hello ladies and lads, that wasn't me. was only just redirected to this thread.
i don't bother hating on amy anymore, shit happeend millions of years ago. sides i'm sick of drama and most of perth is nice and chill now.
there's obvs someone with a grudge on her in perth (not the first thread i've seen), but it's not me so please stop throwing my name around and ....well please don't use my irl name on the chans kthxbai.

>>4409985 most of perth is nice and chill now.
thats kind of true
but then you have the people that keep bringing up the drama on facebook and such and everyone knows who those people are, Don't worry Rafira we know your not involved in that group of asshats that cannot help themselves from expressing their hate towards certain people on Facebook, your alot smarter and more mature than them

>Be anorexic >5'6' and 89lbs >BMI of 14.3 >Still have a flabby tummy which sticks out. (Really. it does. This isn't just my fucked up brain and disorder making me think it does. It sticks out. It is not remotely flat. Even my nurse can't believe it considering my weight.) > Everywhere else is HURR DURR skin and bones. I hate my life. I'd kill anyone to put all my fat in my ass and keep my tummy flat, even if I went from a size 2 in jeans to a size 6.
I wish we had janitors. Oh well, I'm reporting it anyway.

Are there any western cosplays?

Hi Lolitas, I'm trying to find a new skin care product. Mostly for whiteheads. I have pretty dry skin as it is, so I don't want anything that would dry it out more. I'm currently using the product on the far left, but I don't think it's working.

How long did you leave it on. I used the one on the far left, the Biore strips they worked fine with my skin. Kind of got urked when I saw how much white heads were on my nose. Though I currently use Naris Up, Pore Clear Pack works like a dream. Along with collagen refining masks and a good nice daily scrub. My skin feels happy and healthy.

Yeah, I have a natural scrub, that I should probably use more often. It works pretty well. I just have a few blackheads around my nose I'd like to get rid of.

I leave them on until they get are papery like the package said. Perhaps I will try steaming my face. I usually put them on after the shower, and it hasn't seemed to work much, but my skin seems a bit softer in the area.

http://web1.sasa.com/SasaWeb/eng/product/viewProductDetail.jspa?itemno=104380903001 I've used these before and they worked like a charm.

hey \cgl\, what are some good ways to figure out what cosplays would work well for your body type? I'm currently trying to lose some weight, but I'd like to do at least one cosplay this year instead of waiting to be thinner, so I'm trying to figure out what I can pull off with a chubbier body type. Pic related--I'm considering Madoka, since I think it'd look OK if I constructed it well.

>>4413642 I don't have to do anime, no, but most of the things I'm interested in cosplaying from are anime. I'm into american cartoons and the occasional film, but I can't think of very many chubby characters from those, either.
