If it wasn't late, I'd take a closer look and try to figure out the folds, but it'll have to wait.

Also, any ideas for materials that would be suitable, both with regard to being used as a lightshade and in terms of rigidity, etc.

But, I got a test coming up that involves mental visualization of folding orgami into shapes for DATs. I am trying to see if you guys knew of any software that could be of help in this case
