I was working at the docks like normal, but everything was weird. The gantry cranes crept along, very slow, and I thought for a sec that it was too slow, so I returned to my work, removing locks from containers. For some reason my heart started pounding, and I could feel my hands shaking quite noticeably, but I couldn't stop myself from just doing the same repetitive task, removes lockers. So, this goes on for what feels like hours, until everything stops, and I'm bathed in a very bright light that I'm not overly concerned with. The truck that was lazily driving towards me and my fellow dockman halts, and as I walk over to see what's wrong (I have full control of myself now) I notice a drip of sweat coming off of his nose, not moving. My mind was kinda blown at this point, so I turned to my parnter and he was totally still too, caught in the process of smashing a rusty lock apart on the lock box. My gut then began to cramp, and convulse, and I felt very sick, like puking sick, and I double over and hold my gut. When the pain stops, I whip my head up, and suddenly I'm surrounded by hikers/campers who are all very startled that I popped into existance before them on the mountain overlooking my port city. I turn around and the first thing I see is the port I work at and right in the middle, where the container storage area used to sit was a mushroom about twice the size of the very tall gantry cranes. The blast's shockwave is visible as it races towards us, and just as it does, I wake up.
It was fucking weird bro. Happened the night after my first day on the job at the port.
