I recently started keeping mice at my apartment so I don't have to make constant trips to the pet store to feed my snake. How in the help do people keep these things as pets? I kept the first one in my snakes feeding tank but it shittered up the place so bad I keep em in a giant pickle jar now. Pic related. My snake
My parents were doing some yard work today and discovered a box turtle under a bush that they were hoping to trim. Dad successfully moved the turtle away to another part of the yard, is there anything else we should do or just not worry about the turtle?
its snake season so i've been seeing alot of these threads lately, so why not contribute for other new snake keepers.
i just returned home after a week, and my baby boa's eyes are beginning to look very milky. if i look closely i can still see his normal coloration and 'slit' of his eye underneath, but its quite clouded over. (like the picture provided, but more opaque) he is not rubbing his nose, but seemed more agitated than normal when i was handling him today (i guess that could be response to my absence for the last 5 days).
my question: - how long can i expect this to continue before he actually begins shedding? - around how long will it take him to actually remove the skin on his own? (hes only 2 feet long) - can i help him along and just-more or less, pull the skin off once he gets it going? i guess more hold onto the skin while he pulls away
need a quick and simple answer then i'll delete the thread.
3 days agos, my cat started to have an eye infection. Not the first time he got one. 2 days agos, he came home with a small bump on the side of his left eye. yesteday this bump TRIPLED in size. Now we are taking it to the hospital today, but I fear it already to late.
We tried giving him the usual antibiotic that we gave him when he had other eyes infection but we NEVER expected it to degenerate THIS bad.
Greetings /an/ Have a little dilemma here I have a little chick wrapped up in a box with a lamplight keeping it warm for the time being Cat dragged it in. Looks like it just came from the egg, it has its egg sack and everything I'm not sure if this is the right board for it just see if anyone is willing to help, not sure if it's going to last the night pic unrelated
