So my cat climbed a tree and got to a bird nest and took a baby bird. Now all these birds are trying to attack her, but they don't know how to. They fly at her, and she gets on her back and attacks them. Anyone ever see this? And how alpha is my cat?

Hello /an/,
lately, i'm fond of sharks and orcas. Every day, i prefer lunch watching vids on ytb rather than eating with my beautifull colleagues.
Please, let's start a shark thread, send your best pics, so i could recover a normal life...

Alright /an/, opinion time.
Is it worth trying to rescue an animal from a shitty pet store?

Green text time.
>Go into local reptile store
>See a group of leos being kept together (on sand under a hot MVB with no humid hide)
>notice that one of the leos is extremely emaciated
>Tell the owner that the leos needs to be immediately removed and cared for.
>Also tell owner how to improve the leo caging.
>Owner politely smiles and nods but doesn't say much else.
>Employee takes me aside afterwards and tells me that the owner intends on leaving the leo in there to die, and has done this before.

What would you do /an/?
I do not intend on paying for this animal, it would be a rescue only.

My aunt had two cats, a brother and a sister. The sister got pregnant from the brother at 5 months, and there was a litter of four. My aunt got rid of all of them, except one. She was going to take it to a shelter, but I decided to take it instead. He's 10 weeks old and I named him Gigi.

What do I do know? I have an adult cat named Freddy. They seem really uneasy around each other, so I'm keeping him in my room for now with some food, water, and a litterbox. Do I need to get him soft food? How do I introduce Freddy and Gigi? Anything I should look out for since Gigi is inbred?

ok, /an/, im in a bit of a pickle here. Well not me, more of the eggs outside my kitchen window.
About a month ago a robin build a nest a little above my kitchen window, just enough for me to see when she's on her nest or not.
About 2 weeks ago she started sitting on the nest nonstop, indicating she has layed her eggs.

Heres the problem: She hasnt shown up for the past three days.

Everyday id go to the kitchen window and watch as she was sitting there to make sure she'd be allright, never once bothered her (i dont think she had spotted me behind the window, not once did she look back, and was facing in the opposite direction).

But since its been 3 days, im starting to wonder about her whereabouts, i dont know much about birds, so if somebody could let me know if robins do this every now and then and then return, or if shes well, dead. If she IS dead, should i take the eggs in and try to save the baby robins? what should i feed them and how often if they hatch?

Thanks.

Just watched this movie and my boyfriend said he wanted a chameleon. I've always wanted a lizard or something so I thought I'd ask /an/'s opinion on them. I hear they're kind of boring, is that true?

How difficult are they? I was thinking of getting a leopard gecko or something simpler eventually but if these guys aren't too difficult and they're bros then I don't mind.

So I recently happened to acquire a few baby chicks. Only thing is, I have no clue how to take care of them.

Right now they're in a box next to a heat lamp with dishes of food and water and shredded newspaper for bedding. Is this enough for them?

sup /an/... I tried asking /fit/ about this, but since it isn't about latent homosexuality nobody responded

I recently purchased some fish antibiotics (amoxicillin and ciprofloxacin) since I am too poor to afford any health care or a doctor visit (AMERICA!) and the antibiotics are the only ones that do not require a prescription

I'm not sick right now, but I will not have health care anytime in the near future, and I figured I should just have these in case I need them.
(also I am aware of advised medical dosages/protocols, and increasing antibiotic resistance, so I will not be taking one or two of these occasionally like a tard)

Have any of you guys tried taking pet antibiotics before???
Any experience or knowledge to share with me???

/an/ I have a slight problem.
I have squirrels in my grill. Over the winter a squirrel started a nest in one of the drawers in my grill and we didn't find the nest until the babies were already born.
My BF likes squirrels and doesn't really want to harm them, they aren't all that pesky around here. We didn't plan on using the grill until the weather got nicer and we thought the mom would move the babies when they were a bit bigger, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
The drawer is now packed with leaves and I don't really know what action to take. I was hoping to maybe grill some steaks or burgers in a couple days if the weather permits, but a squirrel nest presents a major issue with that.

We did check the nest a week or so ago and did not see any babies in it, so could a new squirrel be trying to make a nest?

So /an/ wat do? I'd rather not harm them but I don't know how to get rid of them.

Pic is old, from when we first found the nest on April 9th.
