Hey /an/, rat question for you rat owners!

I rescued this rat from a now no longer in business terribly run rat "breeder" who I am pretty sure just bought a bunch of rats from the pet store.

I've owned rats before, but this one's different. Let me describe him... First off he's an adult. His fur has certain spots/lines where it's slightly bald, and he's very, very anxious. I have to keep him separate from anything but humans, as he'll attack my other male rat and my dog. He won't bite me at all but I have to be very calm with him and make sure he knows its me whenever I pick up him or feed him, etc. I'm almost certain they never even bothered to let him out of the cage, but he doesn't seem sick or anything, just stressed and timid.

Is there anything I can do to make his experience here more enjoyable, and possibly return some of that lost fur?

I named him Xerxes, by the way. I thought it was a cute way to describe him.

Can anyone identify this bird?? I live in California and found it in my backyard

I have a question.
I just got a Pomeranian puppy, she is 2 and a half months old.
I just got her 4 days ago and she is doing great, but today she seems to be sneezing a lot, should I worry about that? I will take her to a vet tomorrow, but I just want to know if this might be something serious.
I got her from a pet store in California but I live in Mexico and well, you can imagine the long journey she has been through and of course she has all her shots needed at her age.
I am actually pretty worried about this. Is it normal?

Also, any tips to get a puppy potty trained? I have had dogs before but my mom was the one training them because I was too young.

Hey fish anons, I just set up a C02 system in my 20g planted tank. I need some advice.
I'm afraid that I may have cut the tubing that's attached to the fermentation canister too short. This seems like a stupid thing to be worried about, but I tend to freak out over the little things. Am I supposed to have more slack than this? I'm worried because the water is only in the submersed part of the tube. Is it supposed to be like that?
