>>3704566I don't think it was ever posited that intelligence wasn't sexy or strong. Rather than "beating men at their own game," which is kinda hot in itself, I'd think the prevailing mood in the thread is more of excellence in a chosen field. Be it science, business, or martial, excellence is hot.
In fact, one could argue that excellence requires intelligence. In business, one needs to be able to quickly assess long-ranging impacts to one's decision making. Science - especially exploratory science - requires both creativity and a quantitative eye. Combat requires skill, dedication, and an intimate knowledge of one's own body. All different, all smart. And when done well, all hot.
