In fact, one could argue that excellence requires intelligence. In business, one needs to be able to quickly assess long-ranging impacts to one's decision making. Science - especially exploratory science - requires both creativity and a quantitative eye. Combat requires skill, dedication, and an intimate knowledge of one's own body. All different, all smart. And when done well, all hot.
