what's with the casting i dunno, that blonde guy is mildly okay but he also mild and tame, i mistaken him with that other same guy when they fought. idris elba is a class negro, ron perlman even though ridiculous is cool, i actually like that part the best, even with those hehe lel scientists, because that whole subplot is (1) somewhat interesting, because you dunno what might happen with them minds connecting, (2) that part in hong kong underground (economical, not literal) is promising some subplot adventure which we didn't get, just like we got nothing from the point one.
all is good, that communism whole world against a common enemy, the jaeger are being built. they should've shown other robots more, because that's the best, crude stereotyping like in fighting games. german robot/fighter and consequential stereotypes, russian then stereotypes and so on. thought the russian duo was too much hunger games/spy kids flaming chariot caricature so i didn't like it that much. the movie is too short and the mentioned subplot is more interesting then the main plot because will she will she not blah blah okay we know she will.
riniko kikuchi is a fine pussy with a sucky character, but when she was little, so kawaii, that little coat and shoes and crying all alone, i wanted to jump out of my mark one jaeger with wood fueled core, and hug that fine tweed and her fragile little body and take her home and make her tea. ;_________;

Tom Cruise wanted her to be his third wife. But Roman Catholic Vergara, who dated him in 2005, bailed out when she realised he wanted her to become a Scientologist.
3. Gloria role was apparently written for her
She was cast in The Modern Family in 2009 as Gloria, a woman with an older love interest. She has said she never considered dating someone older than her until she played Gloria.
4. Many nominations, but she is still chasing that Emmy
Despite numerous nominations, she has yet to win an Emmy for her stellar role in Modern Family. She has been nominated every year since 2010 for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.
5. She's a natural blonde
Her luscious brown hair is a lie. She told Self Magazine: "When I started acting, I would go to auditions and they didn't know where to put me because I was voluptuous and had the accent - but I had blonde hair. The moment I dyed my hair dark, it was, 'Oh, she's the hot Latin girl'."

10. She has endured family tragedies
In 1998, Vergara's older brother, Rafael, was murdered in Bogota.
In 2011, Vergara's younger brother, Julio was deported from the US to Colombia after being arrested. Julio, a long time drug addict, had previous brushes with the law.
"To see somebody dying over 10 years, little by little, that's the worst punishment," she said.
