[This may have been posted before, I didn't browse /k/ a lot in the last weeks]
I came across the youtube channel of Kevin Dawes, a 'freelance abttlefield journalist' who went to Libya with his camcorder and soon picked up a rifle also. The channel is pretty unorganized but the videos are very good quality and show stuff that you don't see very often.
Because he embedded himself with the rebels, he also took part in some fighting (he said he got a few kills, that may be douchebag braggery or the truth). It looks more like he just tagged along with the rebels as another fighter with a camera instead of a fullblown journalist with press signs everywhere. Yo ucan doubt his motives for going to Libya but at least he did not wear press signs while actively fighting and his material is quite fascinating:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WItfm_2xWZo - examining some of the SA-7 that people were freking out about just lying around, without grip stocks or cooling/ battery modules but working otherwise
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SNj1YPmiQYU - at a range with the rebels, his grip is probably not the best
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYDzTk4t6tA - more MANPADS
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AVKB6pSwVuc - another munitions dump, mortar rounds etc
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9pFrt95H7U - some rebel tube-launched improvised artillery in action
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gnnea-zqlEE - trying to set a Gaddafi billboard on fire
Most of the videos have a summary in the descripotion, the titles are pretty generic though. Just skip through some of them, I found them very interesting and hope my fellow /k/ommandos will enjoy them, too.
